About INNOVA NW INNOVA NW is primarily a commercial-focused business, but we also serve the residential market. Our company is rapidly expanding, and we are seeking a talented low voltage technician. Responsibilities include installing fire, security, audio/visual, communications systems, and other low voltage systems in both commercial and residential projects. Excellent communication and social skills are essential, as you will be the face of our company on the jobsite, interacting with builders, other trades, and customers. Opportunities are available in the Salem area, as well as in the North and South Valley, SW Washington, and Central Oregon.
Required Areas of Knowledge
Burglary, Fire, Access, and Surveillance systems
Data Networking and Communication systems
Relays, digital and analog circuitry
Power supplies and distribution
Wire termination, labeling, and management
Use of electronic testing devices and power tools
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Qualifications
Oregon LEA or LEB License (LEA preferred)
Preferred Washington EL06
5+ years of hands-on low voltage installation experience
Neat and presentable appearance
Clean DMV record
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills
Good research skills and attention to detail
