Whats the role?
Are you a mechanically minded individual whose problem-solving drives your motivation? Hilti North America is looking for a Tool Service Technician. Someone who can bring precision, speed, and pride in every repair. You will be working with first-class Hilti tools, reading blueprints and diagnosing issues, replacing broken components, and restoring their performance to factory standards. Stay sharp by continuously building your technical knowledge reviewing repair manuals, schematics, and technical files to stay ahead of the curve. Diagnose issues and perform high-quality repairs using the right tools, systems, and corrective techniques. Use hand scanners to track tools through the automated repair process. Run functional and safety tests after every repair to ensure tools meet Hiltis high standards and keep our customers safe. Support inventory accuracy by picking the right parts, identifying shortages, and helping maintain optimal stock levels. Partner with Senior Technicians and sales teams to keep communication flowing and customers informed. Keep your workspace clean, organized, and efficient. Follow company policies and live out Hiltis values in everything you do. Take on additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor. What you need is:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Experience in mechanical or electrical repairs. Experience using Windows applications is required. Read blueprints. Assembling or equivalent experience required. Occasionally lift to 50 lbs. Stand for long periods and perform repetitive reaching, bending, and climbing. Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours daily while performing tool repairs at workstations. Why should you apply?
