Overview CFD Research Corporation is seeking a CMM Programmer to join our team and play a pivotal role in programming complex parts for our customers. This new role will work on a growing team of engineers and technicians, encompassing programming and setup of CMM machines to support technology development programs at our Hollywood, Alabama Engineering Test Center, located near the Headquarters in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities
Develop CMM programs for measuring complex parts.
Create measurement reports, perform quality checks, and analyze CMM data.
Program and set up CMM machines to support technology development programs.
Develop fixtures for inspection and work with METROLOGY software (MODUS, SolidWorks or equivalent).
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Associate degree or higher and 4+ years of experience in a CMM operator/programming environment.
Experience developing fixtures for inspection.
MODUS and SolidWorks or other software experience.
Proficient with metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, profilometers, indicators).
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with AS9100 processes.
Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience with ERP systems (Cetec).
Experience with aerospace hardware and Aims CMM (MODUS).
Location Onsite in Hollywood, AL.
