Database Administrator (DBA) - Postgres - CLEARANCE and POLYGRAPH REQUIRED
Constellation Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is seeking a Database Administrator with PostgreSQL expertise for a federal contract that requires U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The base pay range is $125,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr. Responsibilities
Perform routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security. Analyze detailed requirements and develop detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology, and provide implementation services including extensions and configurations to meet customer processes and workflows. Design and implement components of Oracle products based on area of expertise; contribute to deployment and integration efforts across multi-database environments. Assist in capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive analysis of potential issues and risks during system implementation and operations. Provide production support for RAC, RMAN backup and recovery (where applicable) and related Oracle technologies; experience with Exadata, DB security, Data Guard, DB Vault, Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration is desirable. Qualifications
Must be a US citizen Must have TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline; or Four (04) years of additional database experience in lieu of degree At least ten (10) years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator Experience administering and engineering solutions with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases Extensive experience with database design and with gathering and interpreting customer requirements for database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning Designs and implements database components; ensures security and access controls Desirable: experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard, DB Vault, and related Oracle management tools Benefits
