Monterey Door seeks an honest, dedicated, and mechanically inclined individual to join our Sales and Service Account Manager team. If you have a strong work ethic and leadership experience and enjoy problem-solving, this role offers the chance to combine your practical skills with customer-focused sales and service. Since 1987, Monterey Door has proudly served Lancaster County and surrounding areas, offering premium overhead garage doors at competitive prices. As a family-owned and operated business, we prioritize customer satisfaction through fast, efficient, and friendly service. What You'll Do as a Sales and Service Account Manager: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers by providing excellent sales and service support Present and promote our high-quality overhead garage doors to prospective clients Generate quotes and manage a well-established book of business along with new customers Provide accurate, timely updates on installations and repairs, ensuring smooth communication from start to finish Use your mechanical knowledge to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions Maintain accurate records of sales and service activities Work consistent daytime hours with no evenings or weekends, with minimal travel Contribute to our mission of empowering a team while providing quality, ethically priced products and services Our Ideal Sales and Service Account Manager: Skilled Trades Experience:
4+ years in the construction or skilled trades industry. Hands-on mechanical experience is essential. Sales, estimating, or customer service experience is a plus. Mechanically Inclined:
Comfortable working with tools, understanding equipment, and problem-solving technical issues. Computer Skills:
Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word); QuickBooks experience is a plus. Honest & Dependable:
Integrity in every interaction, ensuring customers feel confident and valued. Great Communicator:
Able to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and via email. People-Oriented:
Friendly, approachable, and able to build customer trust. Attention to Detail:
Strong listening skills and accuracy in recording orders and updates. Team Player:
Collaborative, socially aware, and personable in a team setting.
