Quality Manager
Our client in Campbellsburg, Indiana is looking for a Quality Manager. This is a Direct Hire position.
Areas include Quality Leadership, Auditing and Training, mentor, and developing quality staff to operate in an ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 environment.
Leadership of Quality Dept (3) driving facility quality initiatives through process controls and identification of quality metrics.
The Quality Manager is responsible for maintaining the quality system standard and implementing process standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 for the plant.
Provide hands-on management of the elements of the QMS (Quality Management System) that included quality action plans, corrective actions, supplier quality management, customer complaints, audit processes, updating and maintaining standard procedures, test methods, and process controls.
Required:
Requires Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent experience in Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline.
5+ years of Quality Management experience in an Automotive Industrial environment.
8+ years of plant quality engineering or quality process background in an Automotive Manufacturing Plant.
5+ years of experience in project management, auditing, supplier quality, APQP, PPAP, process improvement, 5 why, lean principles, statistical process control (SPC), IATF 16949, ISO 9001
5+ years of developing and delivering continual improvement in the area of manufacturing that aligns with the business strategies.
Preferred: Experience in Powder Metal or other automotive manufactured products.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (green card).
