Paint Prep Assistant

Join our team as a Paint Preparation Assistant Pay range: $16-18/hour Job Summary Working under the direction of a qualified and skilled Painter the Paint Prepper prepares surfaces of automotive vehicles for painting. Sands rough spots and may address minor scratches or polishing. Applies paper and masking tape to protect unpainted surfaces. May be required to remove or replace automotive moldings and trim. Ensures work area is clean and organized and moves vehicles as needed. Qualifications and Skills Must be physically able to work in a shop environment. Standing, working with hands, operating tools, ladders, ability to lift fifty pounds. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and obstacles.
