Asset Protection Communicate with leadership regarding encounters and investigations Maintain a professional relationship with local authorities and law enforcement agencies Collaborate with law enforcement and other local retailers to identify organized retail crime threats Assist leadership with cash handling and transfers Observe customers and associates for potential acts of theft or fraud Take appropriate action to prevent theft and apprehend individuals engaged in theft activity when prevention is not effective Conduct surveillance and apprehension of external theft suspects in compliance with company ethics and guidelines Monitor video via CCTV and conduct on-site interviews Maintain apprehension and investigation records according to company standards Develop and maintain knowledge and use of CCTV surveillance equipment Assist in monitoring store compliance with policies and procedures relating to theft deterrence, safety, and operational controls Maintain a high visible deterrent to crime and assist with inventory controls Safety Help mitigate security risks to provide a safer environment for employees and customers Welcome all customers, visitors, and vendors professionally and assist them in locating staff Tag property brought into the stores and assist with service equipment and firearms as applicable Watch facilities and parking areas on foot; direct traffic during events while enforcing parking regulations Conduct regular floor and exterior walks to ensure safety and security Complete monthly reports on safe or non-safe practices observed on the sales floor or back stocks First Responder Assist customers and staff with vehicle break-downs and lock-outs; retrieve shopping carts from parking areas Respond to shoplifting, medical emergencies, and inclement weather as needed Work assigned schedules which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays Requirements

Physical Requirements Must be able to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Heavy work – exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly for objects. Follow safety procedures to minimize risk of injury.
