The Branch Manager is responsible for maintaining an engaged, operationally sound, and high‑performing team dedicated to improving the financial wellness of customers. This role acts as a player and coach, oversees branch operations, directly manages associate performance, and provides guidance to help customers reach their financial goals. The Branch Manager drives branch performance through strong individual sales and ensures the team meets or exceeds branch sales, quality, and service goals while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance. Regions seeks candidates who are customer‑driven, competitive, and able to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment, providing personalized service to customers. Primary Responsibilities
Leads a small to moderate sized team of branch associates to drive new revenue by identifying customer needs and guiding Regions solutions Conducts outside sales to generate new business and maintains/expands existing consumer and business banking relationships Educates associates, customers, and the community about best practices for financial wellness and Regions digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM) Coaches and develops branch associates through iConnect (Regions’ Sales, Service and Coaching process) with guidance from mentors and internal support partners Provides consistent coaching to strengthen product knowledge and customer needs understanding Advises customers on Regions Consumer and Business products, including loans, deposits, annuities, and life insurance Ensures an optimal customer experience, including assisting with greeting and processing transactions as needed Resolves escalated issues and provides counseling to associates with guidance from leadership and HR Manages recruiting and selection for the assigned branch Maintains relationships with Line of Business partners and refers customers to internal experts for complex goals Follows bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; ensures operational risk management duties are completed by branch staff Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Three (3) years of financial services, sales, or sales management experience Expected to obtain an active Life Insurance License within twelve (12) months and maintain continuing education Ability to work on Saturdays as needed Preferences
College degree Life Insurance License Supervisory experience in Financial Services Six (6) years of banking and/or lending experience Six (6) years of relationship-based client consultation experience Skills And Competencies
Mastery of key advice, guidance, and education concepts Ability to handle multiple priorities Ability to provide effective feedback and guidance Excellent communication and customer service skills Excellent leadership and problem‑solving skills Position Type

Pay ranges are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Pay varies based on experience, skills, location, and performance. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for the position location. Job Range Target: $55,909.26 USD Median: $73,674.00 USD This role is eligible to participate in a commission incentive plan. Incentives are based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
