Job Description summary: Join Baker Tilly as a Tax Manager with our Private Wealth/High Net Worth team. This role involves delivering tax and business advisory services and tax compliance to small business clients, working with firm leadership to serve clients and build the business, mentoring staff, and contributing to the firm’s growth and development. What You Will Do

Assist in providing compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational affluent families, family offices and their private businesses and/or investment entities Perform complex individual, partnership, S-corp, trust, estate, gift and state tax returns Work on multiple engagements delivering proactive tax planning and strategic consulting including federal estate, gift, charitable planning and generation skipping tax Build technical competence by staying up-to-date on trends, developments and authorities and applying them to complex situations Learn and grow from direct and on-the-job coaching and participate in firm-wide learning and development programs Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients Support the growth and development of team members Engage in work-life balance and team activities that support a positive work environment Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Licensed CPA, JD, or EA Five (5)+ years of experience providing federal and state tax compliance, accounting and advisory services in a professional services firm Two (2)+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management and communication skills Ability to lead and supervise others, deliver exceptional client service, stay current on applicable tax strategies, and demonstrate ethical judgment and a sense of urgency Proficiency with software and Microsoft Office Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred For California, Colorado, New York, Washington and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $91,220 to $172,950.
