Providence Health & Services is hiring a

Coding Quality Auditor, HEDIS Remote

to conduct clinical quality audits and support HEDIS improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

Conduct clinical quality audits/overreads for the Quality Department. Identify and report clinical audit issues to determine potential quality improvement areas within the HEDIS project. Collect data via chart extraction using objective specifications for the HEDIS program. Review outpatient medical records, hospital records, clinical lab, and pharmacy records. Apply standardized methodologies to collect and organize audit data to identify improvement opportunities. Perform electronic chart audits during the audit season. Complete HEDIS training prior to performing chart abstractions. Maintain all collected records confidentially and promote a team concept reflecting the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy. Qualifications

Technical certification/licensure in Medical Assistant, Certified Nurse Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse upon hire. High School Diploma or GED. 3 years of medical record audit experience; experience extracting clinical data points; comfortable with technology and medical terminology. 2 years of HEDIS, quality management/quality improvement/utilization review auditing experience within electronic health records. 1 year of experience in the medical field as a Medical Assistant, Certified Nurse Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Preferred Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field, Health Information Management degree. Experience with health plans, project management, data analysis, and/or case review. Remote Work Locations
