Overview
Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Assistant Property Manager for a brand new apartment community in Franklin, MA. The role supports the Property Manager and acts as backup in all facets of property management, including resident interaction.
Responsibilities
Assist the Property Manager with daily operations, tenant relations, and maintenance.
Support rent collection, work order processing, and property inspections.
Prepare turnovers, ensure LIHTC compliance, and assist with recertifications.
Perform administrative duties and support marketing and leasing activities.
Qualifications
Knowledgeable in affordable housing programs, including federal, state, and local regulations.
Strong time‑management skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
Excellent administrative, organizational, marketing, and resident‑relations skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Self‑motivated and able to take initiative.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of related property‑management experience in recertification and administrative support.
Extensive knowledge of OneSite and proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
LIHTC experience required.
Strong communication, organizational, writing, and computer skills.
