Compensation: To $80K Job Overview – Property Accountant – 33611 We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Accountant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property accounting and hands-on experience with Yardi. This role plays a key part in supporting the financial management of a portfolio of commercial and/or residential properties. Manage all aspects of property accounting for assigned portfolio Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts Post journal entries and ensure accuracy of all transactions Monitor accounts receivable and payable; follow up on discrepancies as needed Process tenant billing, including rent, CAM reconciliations, and other charges Maintain lease abstracts and ensure accuracy of tenant information in Yardi Collaborate with property managers and asset managers to analyze financial performance Assist with annual budgets and audit preparation Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of experience in property accounting (commercial or residential) Proficiency in Yardi is required!
