Perform cost-benefit analyses to evaluate products, services, and expenditures to advise management on accounting and financial business decisions. Analyze financial data and interpret it accurately to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare budgets and monitor budget adherence. Analyze items such as cost of goods, cost of operations, and pricing to optimize the cost of doing business. Provide insights and guidance to improve profitability and cash flow. Analyze financial and business performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that enable management to determine progress against strategic business plans and budgets. Monitor and analyze operating results against the budget, providing insightful and actionable explanations of variances. Support Sales, Marketing, and other operations in evaluating and structuring business opportunities, pricing, programs, or projects, and measuring and assessing their effectiveness. Prepare financial forecasts monthly, quarterly, annually, and as otherwise required. Develop updates and distribute various financial and management reports for the business, including monthly operating budgets, year-to-date variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyze financial trends and provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Work with: credit evaluation, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, financial forecasting, budget management, variance analysis, aiding decision-making, financial reporting, and tracking and reporting financial performance against planned budgets. Other similar professional duties as assigned. Qualifications
Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent and 3 years’ experience in the job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent and 5 years’ experience in the job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Experience must include: credit evaluation, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, financial forecasting, budget management, variance analysis, aiding decision-making, financial reporting, and tracking and reporting financial performance against planned budgets.
