Overview

The Document Controller is responsible for creating, managing and distributing Customer and Regulatory compliant labels and materials and the inventory in a Regulated cGMP Environment. The Document Controller will support the Business in operating as outlined in the Crescent Way and 3P’s:

Safety

Read and understand the Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing It Safe. Ensure Safe and well-maintained Work Environment and conditions throughout all workspaces, facility and surrounding areas. Actively participate in Safety Sentinels to support cultivating and promoting a Safety-First Culture. People

Approach all activities and tasks with a motivated “can do” attitude and identify ways to help streamline Crescents processes. Promote a Work Environment where Crescent People are valued and can safely communicate, grow and develop. Productivity

Identify, drive and support all Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts. Prepare job bins/dockets as required by the customer. Receiving of incoming customer supplied labels

All other duties as assigned, including but not limited to the identification and training of an individual capable of successfully completing all stated Key Responsibilities as appropriate to maintain integrity of position for progression planning and coverage during times of absence.

Quality

Ensure compliance with corporate quality manual. Maintain journals and daily summary logs as required. Complete operational paperwork validations as required. Responsible for all label inventory Customer Value

Ensure processes, programs and controls are intact and executed against to deliver top quality products to all Crescent customers. Improve organizational efficiency and waste reduction. Do It Right

Fast paced environment, requiring quality coordinator to adapt to constant changes in schedules, volumes, staffing and shift requirements. Ability to frequently sit, stand for long periods of time, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Knowledge, Skills, & Capability

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or GED Highly proficient with a computer Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications Highly detailed and organized Preferred Qualifications

Regulatory cGMP manufacturing experience Experience with ERP / MRP Systems We will know that the Document Controller is successful if they can:

Support applicable cGMP & Customer compliant Operations Consistently perform label and paperwork duties without specification or process deviation
