What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Manage the processing of creditor garnishments, tax levies, support orders, and bankruptcy orders in compliance with State and Federal regulations - Respond to inquiries regarding case status from various stakeholders, including State employees and creditors - Adjust garnishment records in the statewide payroll system based on court orders and system updates - Perform mathematical calculations related to non-exempt earnings statements for accurate payroll processing - Maintain organization and documentation of case files and related tasks
What is Required (Qualifications): - High School diploma - Minimum of two years of responsible administrative experience, preferably in budget analysis, purchasing, accounting, or data processing - Strong knowledge of Federal and State laws related to garnishments - Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office applications - Ability to analyze, make recommendations, and communicate effectively under pressure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Bachelor's degree in business or public administration from an accredited college or university - Experience using AZ360 HRM garnishment data entry systems - Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple interests - Background in administrative services work related to payroll or finance - Familiarity with State government policies and procedures
