Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-obsessed Manager – Revenue Systems & Reconciliations to own the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our revenue recognition operations. This is not a “close-the-books-and-go-home” role — it’s a fast-paced, system- and data-heavy position where your mastery of accounting meets your passion for technology and process optimization. You will be the point person for our revenue system (Seaware) and credit card processor reconciliations, working closely with IT, Finance, and Operations to ensure data flows seamlessly, variances are identified early, and reporting is bulletproof.
Key Responsibilities
Own the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Seaware revenue system to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP (ASC 606).
Lead the end-to-end reconciliation process for credit card processors, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved quickly.
Develop and maintain system-driven revenue recognition policies, workflows, and reporting tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including IT, FP&A, and Operations) to ensure seamless integration between systems and accounting processes.
Build, monitor, and present dashboards and reconciliations that provide actionable insights to leadership.
Identify process gaps and drive automation initiatives to reduce manual work and improve controls.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring reconciliations and revenue reporting are completed on time and audit-ready.
Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of accuracy, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
Minimum 5+ years progressive accounting experience, ideally with exposure to high-volume transactional environments.
Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and reconciliations.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (Workday preferred).
Demonstrated success working with revenue systems, data integrations, and reconciliation automation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
