Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, managing company credit cards, verifying expense reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment for both Church and Academy. Key Responsibilities Review, code, and process invoices and payment requests. Match receipts and invoices for accuracy. Reconcile vendor statements, bank accounts, and credit card statements, and resolve discrepancies. Prepare weekly check runs and ACH payments. Maintain accurate AP records and assist with the month-end close. Meet deadlines consistently and with a high degree of dependability. Demonstrate a strong sense of confidentiality and integrity with financial data. Assist with annual audit. Minimum Qualifications Education:

HS Diploma; some college preferred. Work Experience:

Accounts Payable or related accounting experience. Skills:

QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Word. Qualifications
