Our team works on complex and innovative transactions. As part of HCMA, you’ll have the opportunity to advise clients on mergers & acquisitions, equity, debt, and structured financings, new entity formations, insurance-linked securitizations, and other critical strategic initiatives. You will gain exposure to professionals across the Howden Group and insights on trends driving the global P&C industry forward. We serve a wide range of clients in the global P&C insurance value chain, including distributors, managing general agents, carriers, reinsurers, insurtechs, and other service providers, as well as a diverse set of investors such as private equity sponsors, credit specialists, asset managers, pension funds, family offices, insurance-linked securities funds, and other institutions. As an Analyst, you will have the opportunity to: Participate in the origination and execution of M&A, equity, debt and ILS transactions Prepare presentation materials for client meetings, covering strategic alternatives, capital markets activity, and general corporate finance Prepare company valuations using methodologies including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, trading comparables and transaction comparables Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and analyze impacts of different capital structures and potential M&A transactions Prepare company marketing documents and client presentations, and perform research and analyses in support of new business generation Participate in all stages of transaction executions, from the pitch phase through closing Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5 Prior internship in investment banking, transactional valuation, advisory or corporate development Demonstrated academic achievement and excellence outside of academics Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and under pressure with tight deadlines Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail Demonstrated leadership abilities Solid interest in the financial sector Excellent PC skills; advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint Legally authorized to work in the United States Salary information: The expected base salary for this role is $105,000. The base salary range is based on level and is part of the overall compensation package, which includes discretionary bonus and benefits. Seniority level:
