Overview
Join Our Team as a Seasonal Assistant Property Manager (APM) in Leesburg, FL. This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of about 3 months (October, November and December).
Position Assistant Property Manager (APM), Seasonal position.
Location Laurel Oaks I & II, a 252-unit multi-family residential community located in Leesburg, FL 34748.
Base pay $20.00/hr - $21.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting the community’s Property Manager in achieving pre-determined goals and objectives.
Follow company policy and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations in the proper maintenance, execution, and distribution of records pertaining to occupancy, income, and expenses.
What we are looking for
Experience leasing/marketing multi-family communities; affordable experience is preferred.
Experience using Yardi property management software programs.
Ability to quickly resolve resident issues and provide excellent resident relations.

Responsibilities (detailed)
Train on-site team on policy adherence and uniformity.
Prepare resident legal notices (three-day notices, seven-day notices to cure, etc.) and document in resident notes/attachments.
Audit resident move-in and renewal records for accuracy.
Resolve resident concerns promptly and courteously.
Monitor service requests in property management software.
Record notices to vacate and interview exiting residents to determine reasons.
Coordinate with compliance department to collect missing documentation or clarifications.
Prepare lease renewal batches and rental increase notices for review by Regional Manager and Property Manager.
Post and print renewal letters; coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
Inspect and complete move-in condition reports with residents.
Perform all functions related to collections (NSFs, eviction filings, warrants).
Review monthly pre-bill and follow up on delinquencies; update notes for Senior Management.
Turn over bad debts for collection and report income collection to Property Accounting.
Resolve accounting discrepancies with the Property Manager and submit tickets as needed.
In the absence of the Property Manager, supervise turnkey operations, maintenance, and other team functions.
Other duties may be assigned by the Property Manager/District Manager/Regional Manager/Props Ops Associate.
Complete all assigned Richman University courses by due dates.
Requirements
Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of two years in a multi-family industry in an Assistant or Leasing role; affordable community experience preferred.
Skills & Certifications: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (Yardi S7). Experience with CRMIQ, CRMFlex, EliseAI, Yardi Elevate is a plus.
Knowledge of Fair Housing, EEO laws.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Ability to operate standard office equipment.
