Sr. Accounts Receivable Manager, McKesson Medical Surgical Career Level:

The Credit and Accounts Receivable Operations team is hiring a Sr. Accounts Receivable Manager to support the McK Medical Surgical business. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans aligned with financial goals, managing bad debt, optimizing working capital, and enhancing risk management through effective collections. Partner closely with Customers, Sales teams, and internal stakeholders to identify and pursue growth opportunities. Use your expertise to balance financial objectives with risk management, ensuring a robust credit and collections framework. Demonstrate a customer-facing orientation by building and nurturing relationships that support business objectives. This role suits a leader with a strong customer focus and a collaborative style. Key Responsibilities

Lead the Medical Surgical Credit and Accounts Receivable Operations team within Financial Services and Solutions (FSS). Manage the accounts receivable portfolio to achieve collection, customer support, and DSO targets. Evaluate and improve department processes and IT applications in collaboration with senior leadership. Foster a customer-centric culture and build relationships with Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders. Engage the AR team in strategic initiatives through internal partnerships. Ensure compliance and document internal controls, policies, and procedures. Lead and develop a team of Escalation Analysts to minimize bad debt and reduce DSO. Collaborate with senior leadership to address collection issues and potential write-offs. Partner with Genpact to manage AR activities and metrics. Competencies and Best Practices for High Performers

Significant knowledge of credit/collections management and team leadership experience. Strong collaboration and diplomacy skills with internal/external customers. Ability to influence and exercise good judgment in a fast-paced environment. Customer service focus and cross-functional collaboration skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to promote trust and teamwork. Innovative mindset to streamline processes and improve practices. Additional Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge of commercial credit, UCC, business law, credit & collection principles, and commercial lending. JDE system experience preferred. Strong analytical skills, including Excel proficiency. Minimum Requirements

7+ years of credit experience, including 3+ years in management within a dynamic environment. Preferred experience in Wholesale industry credit and collections. Education
