Overview
The Local Process Expert implements the end-to-end repair service process within the local Tool Service Center (TSC) based on global standards (GPMS). Excludes Repair Time Effectiveness (RTE)/Repair Time Standard (RTS) processes. Responsible for implementing best process practices for the end-to-end process and driving lean implementation. Coordinates technical system aspects and engages with Market Organizations and Regions. Supports one large Tool Service Center or multiple small/medium Tool Service Centers on After Market Service processes. What the role involves
Indirect supervision of four to six warehouse workers, TSC coordinators, and operational support specialists. Oversees all Tool Service Center related processes (with exception of repair processes). Works closely with Team Leads and Tool Service Center Manager to identify workload trends and daily priorities. Maintains SAP processes in compliance with Internal Control Systems (ICS); must be proficient in SAP. Responsible for training of support team personnel on receiving and shipping processes. Facilitates open communication between Tool Service Center operations to share best practices and achieve outstanding results. Coordinates routine maintenance and calibration of Tool Service Center equipment. Oversees all support team activities including receiving customer tool repairs, sorting/distributing tools, shipping repairs, handling fleet tools for collection, TOD/PTP tools, and recycling processes. Maintains a continuous improvement mindset and recommends process improvements and applicable technologies for Tool Service Center support processes. Collaborates with regional teams on process and project implementations. Additional duties as assigned. What we offer

High School/GED required. A minimum of three (3) years of operational experience in a tool service operation/spare parts warehouse, or a technical degree required. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team-oriented workforce (preferred). Proven experience managing personnel and expenses to meet operational objectives. Creative, energetic individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Ability to recommend, introduce, and/or implement new technologies to improve efficiencies in spare parts warehouse processes. Detail-oriented and well-organized.
