Senior Accountant
Our client, a privately held med-tech company poised for exponential growth, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the organization and the opportunity to help shape accounting processes and systems. Responsibilities
Execute month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations for capital assets, leases, accounts payable, payroll, and stock-based compensation. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with equity disclosures. Oversee payroll operations and record monthly payroll accruals. Support equity administration including RSU vesting, option exercises, and cap table updates. Assist with internal controls, documentation, control testing, and policy development in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Requirements
5+ years of accounting experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA license or actively pursuing highly preferred Experience leading month-end close and payroll processing and payroll accruals Familiarity with ASC 718, capitalization tables and ASC 842 Background in public accounting or experience within biotech, med-tech, or similar industries Compensation
Base pay range: $136,000.00/yr - $136,000.00/yr Location
