KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist, IAM Engineer to join our Managed Services practice.
Responsibilities:
Drive the planning, design, and execution of client-facing engineering projects to enhance and deliver IAM solutions, including access provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, authentication, identity management, privileged access, and service account management.
Design and implement IAM engagement solutions aligned with overall organizational goals and security standards and conduct research to address complex technical challenges and stay informed of emerging trends and technologies in IAM; drive continuous engineering improvement opportunities and focus on innovation and efficiencies to minimize known issues
Architect, develop, and implement accelerators and enablers for automating IAM processes, driving efficiency and accuracy; identify opportunities for process optimization and execute strategies to improve service delivery and scalability; troubleshoot IAM system issues, providing robust engineering solutions to enhance performance, security, and reliability; conduct detailed root cause analysis of technical problems and implement solutions to prevent recurrences
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including IT, security teams, and other subject matter experts, to extend IAM control solutions across technology assets; work closely with application development teams to understand current initiatives and strategies, ensuring alignment and integration with IAM solutions; monitor IAM operations to ensure optimal performance and compliance with established protocols; escalate incidents to next-level support as necessary and lead efforts to resolve critical issues promptly
Create and maintain comprehensive client knowledge articles, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and scripts to ensure smooth operations and quick issue resolution; develop procedures and documentation for continuous improvement and maintenance activities related to IAM solutions and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
Minimum three years of recent experience with at least one of the following tools such as: SailPoint, Okta, Entra ID, or CyberArk; minimum five years of recent industry experience in development, support, configuration, or deployment of IAM products
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent in cybersecurity or software engineering
Strong knowledge and experience in tools like IGA SailPoint; experience in implementing and developing connectors, approval workflows and end-to-end reporting; OR Access Management such as Okta, Entra ID or Ping; proven experience in implementing and developing SSO application onboarding and MFA integration with a solid understanding of SAML, OAuth, OpenID, Kerberos and Federation; OR Pam (CyberArk), knowledge of hybrid architecture, account onboarding, designing safes, policy configuration and cloud integration
Solid experience working with ITSM tools is preferred, including the IAM domain within an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) managed services context
Strong technical presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, communicate requirements and designs directly with customers, and maintain a positive attitude
Travel as required

KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. The California Salary Range for this position is $84,500 - $179,300. KPMG offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including a variety of medical and dental plans, vision coverage, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plans, and a robust suite of personal well-being benefits.
