Job Summary
The Financial Analyst will provide critical financial support to the U.S. Defense Finance and Program teams. This role involves financial planning, forecasting, policy adherence, and ad hoc analysis across various defense contracts. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, high-stakes environment. Responsibilities
Deliver financial analysis services to U.S. Defense Finance and Program teams.
Support the development and maintenance of: Five-Year Plans
In-year forecasts
APY operational planning and threat assessments for assigned contracts
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, company policies, local procedures, and contract obligations.
Contribute to strengthening the organization’s financial control environment and driving process improvements.
Support the development and monitoring of long-term project and contract profit plans.
Provide ad hoc financial support, including: Contract billing and payments
Miscellaneous financial analysis
Assistance with smaller contract operations
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Must have)
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP
Background in large or enterprise-level industry environments
Familiarity with Oracle HFN
Proven ability to hit the ground running and adapt quickly to new systems and processes
