Sign-on bonus Education required:
Bachelor’s Degree. Must be licensed in North Carolina as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CDAC) with at least one year of full-time experience treating individuals with co-occurring disorders, including mental health and substance use issues. Qualified Professional (QP) status is required with a designation of CCS, LCAS, LCAS-A, or CDAC. Work experience:
Minimum of one (1) year in the human services field as a CADC with the target population. Position summary:
The CADC provides and coordinates treatment planning and service delivery tailored to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Responsibilities include treatment, rehabilitation, care management, and support services within the team. Knowledge and skills:
Understanding of Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) principles, laws, regulations, and policies; knowledge of substance use principles and techniques; ability to communicate effectively; understanding of family and group dynamics; familiarity with Managed Care processes; availability for crisis situations. Travel requirements:
