Work with minimal supervision to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. Develop and promote a sales culture by creating individualized solutions for guests and providing outstanding guest service experiences. Ensure products are easy to see and buy, build sales by sharing product and gaming knowledge, maintain a clean, organized store environment, and grow guest loyalty. Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager. Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions/concerns quickly and courteously, inform guests of promotions, recommend additional items, and thank guests for shopping at GameStop. Support the visual and operational elements of the store and current sales initiatives to drive sales and repeat business. Process guest purchases and returns accurately using the POS system, provide receipts, and ensure top-notch guest service. Respond to guest questions in person or by phone; escalate issues to the Store Manager when appropriate. Promote GameStop guest benefits, such as new title reservations, trade-ins, and Pro Rewards. Assist in setting guest service expectations and train staff on policies, procedures, and guidelines. Provide feedback on associate performance and input values into the HR system in partnership with the Store Manager. Ensure onboarding and training are completed prior to opening/closing shifts; ensure associates know policies, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, financial protocol, and ethics. Schedule store associates to meet guidelines; supervise staffing to maintain guest service quality. Approve payroll and manage time off requests while ensuring accurate pay for time worked. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per guidelines; ensure equipment is in proper working order. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders and shipments daily. Protect assets through inventory control and loss prevention; inspect packages at closing as appropriate and communicate concerns to the Store Manager. Support the team in achieving sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete administrative duties. Conduct inventory counts, restock merchandise, and ensure products are represented and organized on the sales floor. Close out daily transactions accurately; manage cash, bank deposits, and daily reconciliations. Verify shipments for discrepancies; conduct merchandise counts and report discrepancies to the Store Manager/District Manager. Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls; label boxes with packing lists. Maintain awareness of safety; report injuries per guidelines. Keep store records/files organized and ensure manuals are up to date. Supervise and delegate tasks in the Store Manager’s absence. Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures and opening/closing procedures. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. Retail management experience: at least 6 months preferred; retail sales/guest service/management experience: at least 2 years preferred. Video game knowledge preferred. Key Job Skills and Abilities

Outgoing, welcoming personality with strong people skills. Genuine and individualized guest assistance in every visit. Clear verbal and written communication and listening skills; English proficiency; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet objectives. Ability to work independently and in a team, completing tasks timely. Attend to performance expectations, attendance, safety, and respectful workplace. Operate POS system; basic math and alphabetizing skills. Complete required paperwork properly; follow written or diagrammed instructions. Flexible schedule including extended hours, nights, weekends, and some holidays (minimum 3 days/week). Ability to manage pressure, be a problem solver, and maintain guest interactions. Reliability, trustworthiness, and good judgment. Able to work alone; stand/move for up to 12 hours and lift up to 30 lbs as needed. Benefits: Full-time store positions may be eligible for incentive programs, 401(k), paid time off, dental, vision, and health insurance. Additional bonuses or incentives may apply. Compensation: $17.80 - $21.80 per hour.
