Job Overview Altra’s Floating Member Solutions Representative will travel to Altra locations in Wisconsin and Minnesota as needed to fill in at offices where assistance is required. The position’s home office is at West Salem, WI. You will work in face‑to‑face offices, kiosk‑style office, and technology‑style offices, collaborating as part of a fast‑paced team.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for members, delivering outstanding service while handling routine financial transactions accurately and efficiently. Your positive attitude and commitment to member satisfaction will help strengthen our credit union’s reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Greet members warmly and assist with daily banking needs, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and account inquiries.

Process transactions accurately in compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.

Promote credit union products and services to meet member needs and support business growth.

Promote in‑branch technology and assist members as needed.

Maintain member confidentiality and adhere to security procedures.

Resolve member questions or concerns promptly, escalating when necessary.

Balance cash drawers and prepare daily reports.

Support other branch functions as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma (or equivalent) and a commitment to ongoing learning.

Background in customer service; previous financial experience is a plus.

Previous cash handling or teller experience preferred, but not required.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with members genuinely.

Detail‑oriented, professional, and tech‑savvy – ready to help members with digital services.

Proficient with computers and basic software applications.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Commitment to providing exceptional member service.

Valid driver’s license required.

Reliable transportation required.

Availability

Full‑time, 40‑hour week, Monday through Friday.

Hours scheduled between 7:15 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

No Saturday hours required, but available if desired.

Requires flexibility within posted hours.

Pay and Benefits

Starting hourly pay of $19.00 (includes $2.00 float premium). Bilingual in Spanish or Hmong adds $1.00 hourly premium after exam.
