Middle School Social Studies Teacher . This candidate must be passionate about the social sciences, can help students learn and apply higher order thinking skills, and is qualified to teach all levels of Middle School Social Studies. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for middle school students. The Middle School Social Studies teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Salary will be based certification and years of experience. Qualifications:
BS / BA Degree in Education or Social Studies. Florida department of Education Social Sciences 6-8 teaching certificate, temporary or professional required. Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus. Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar required. Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred. Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
