Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician (DIAT) role at Jobs via Dice. As a CO+I DIAT, you will perform cycle audits, execute incoming/outgoing deliveries, coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors, and document inbound and outbound deliveries as instructed by management. You will initiate warranty claims and process returns on failed equipment. Responsibilities

Customer Service : Maintain focus to understand the impact of IAM tasks, ensure tasks are completed accurately per company and industry standards, follow supplier guidelines, and communicate potential stakeholder impact. Data Bearing Device (DBD) Destruction : Perform destruction of DBDs following SLAs and Microsoft policies; ensure DBD serial numbers match the database. Inbound and Outbound Logistics : Document inbound/outbound packages, execute deliveries as instructed, ensure accurate records, and apply appropriate customs documentation. Inventory Management : Develop stock control knowledge, perform cycle audits, reconcile discrepancies, and manage physical inventory tracking and material movement. Operational Excellence : Follow procedures to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely execution of processes. Procurement : Notify management about stock shortages and escalate issues as needed. Safety Practices : Comply with security and data management policies, coordinate with security escorts, and conduct THA with sign-off for risks. Tactical Shift Management : Perform tasks, escalate issues during high-volume periods, and seek guidance from management when needed. Travel up to 25% may be required. Warranty Process Management : Initiate warranty claims when automation is unavailable, process orders and returns for RMAs, and follow SLAs. Qualifications

Required Qualifications High School Diploma AND 6 months of experience or internship in inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or related field, or equivalent experience. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Travel up to 25% as indicated in the job description. Other Requirements Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements (e.g., Microsoft Cloud Background Check, citizenship verification). Citizenship verification is required due to legal restrictions for certain customers; passport verification may be required. Preferred Qualifications

2+ years in warehouse/supply chain in IT environment, IT/logistics, or related field; experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks) in a large organization, or equivalent experience.
