Senior WordPress Developer
objective: We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in custom plugin development, Multisite environments, and headless WordPress implementations. Applicants with strong design skills and a working knowledge of Elementor will be given preference. This role requires both strong technical expertise and an eye for design to deliver exceptional digital experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively. Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize custom WordPress plugins tailored to business needs. Implement and manage WordPress Multisite environments for complex web setups and apps. Build headless WordPress solutions using REST APIs, GraphQL, or similar technologies. Design, develop, and troubleshoot responsive UI/UX components. Collaborate with the team to implement visually appealing and intuitive designs. Enhance WordPress websites with Elementor while ensuring a seamless front-end experience. Ensure all web assets are highly performant, scalable, and adhere to WordPress best practices. Stay updated on emerging WordPress trends and technologies to recommend improvements. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills
5+ years of professional experience as a WordPress Developer: Advanced knowledge of WordPress core, custom themes, and plugin development. Custom Plugin Development: Ability to build, extend, and maintain WordPress plugins from scratch. Multisite Management: Proven experience in setting up and managing WordPress Multisite networks. Headless WordPress: Solid understanding of decoupled architectures and experience leveraging WordPress as a headless CMS. Back-End Development: PHP expertise, including experience customizing WordPress core functionalities. Elementor Proficiency: Demonstrable experience in designing and building pages using Elementor. Design Tools: Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch is a plus. Version Control: Knowledge of Git repositories for code versioning and collaboration. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment using Microsoft Teams. Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record of developing and deploying successful WordPress projects. Experience integrating third-party APIs and services into WordPress applications. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for WordPress. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment using Microsoft Teams. Familiarity with SEO best practices.
