As the

Restoration Priority Responder , you serve as the

first point of contact

for property damage emergencies. You will provide rapid, professional response to residential and commercial losses — setting the tone for the entire mitigation process. This is a

front-line, customer-facing role

that requires excellent communication, organization, and technical ability. This position also participates in an

after-hours and weekend on-call rotation , responding to dispatches for emergency losses. Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to emergency calls and perform on-site inspections to assess damage for water, fire, mold, or biohazard restoration projects. Document findings and create initial project scopes for mitigation and remediation. Communicate effectively with customers, property managers, and insurance representatives to explain the restoration process and obtain authorization. Coordinate with the Operations Manager to transition projects efficiently into the next phase. Ensure documentation, estimates, and photo reports are accurate and completed using SERVPRO software systems. Represent SERVPRO in a professional manner during after-hours and emergency responses. Additional Responsibilities

Manage the customer experience and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in a ready state for immediate deployment. Promote SERVPRO’s services and maintain relationships with customers and referral partners. Participate in regular safety meetings, training, and departmental updates. Position Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. High school diploma/GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of restoration industry experience (mitigation, remediation, or construction). IICRC certification(s) in Water, Fire, or Mold preferred. At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays as part of the emergency rotation. Skills, Physical Demands, and Competencies

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and maneuver in confined spaces (crawl spaces, attics, etc.). Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects. Comfort working with cleaning and restoration agents. Strong attention to detail, customer service orientation, and effective communication skills. Ability to successfully pass a background check, subject to applicable law.
