Base pay range:
$175,000.00/yr - $245,000.00/yr
Your impact:
As a Ports & Maritime Senior Structural Technical Lead, you’ll work with a global multi‑disciplinary team on ports and maritime projects worldwide. You will assist and/or lead design teams in the design, analysis, and delivery of projects ranging from local waterfront projects to international multi‑billion‑dollar port developments. You will prepare and review structural calculations/designs, specifications, design criteria and engineering reports, technical approaches and level of effort for proposals, and serve as a conduit for resource and knowledge sharing between our offices. You will lead structural teams in the technical delivery of various aspects of our projects, from small structural tasks to entire packages. You will also serve as a structural QA/QC expert on maritime projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering
Professional Engineer license (preferably in New York/New Jersey or willingness to get reciprocity in New York and New Jersey)
Substantial years of experience in the design of marine structures and facilities
Experience with national and international codes such as ASCE, UFC, IBC, Eurocode, and British Standard
Expert working knowledge of ACI, AISC, PIANC
Proficient in the use of STAAD (or similar structural analysis software, such as SAP2000) and AutoCAD
Prior work experience on marine structures and facilities
Extensive work experience with carrying out structural design and analysis, writing technical specifications, Basis of Design documents, technical reports and memos
Experience leading structural teams in the technical delivery of tasks and projects
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in civil engineering
Prior working experience on international projects
Experience managing and leading a team of engineers on small to medium‑size marine structures projects
Work experience with Revit

Base salary range for this position:
$175,000.00 to $245,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
