IT Manager Department: Engineering

Overview A Radio Engineer designs, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots radio transmission systems and equipment. They work with systems that utilize radio waves for communication, ensuring optimal signal strength and quality. Responsibilities include designing and implementing radio transmission systems, monitoring and optimizing performance, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Responsibilities

Design, test, and implement wireless communication systems.

Maintain broadcast systems to function efficiently.

Analyze user requirements.

Conduct tests to ensure systems are functioning.

Troubleshoot and solve technical issues.

Primary contact for workstations, studio tech, and work closely with our computer IT corporate department.

Good understanding of communication protocols, signal processing techniques, and network architectures.

Site visits and surveys, data collection, and system troubleshooting.

Communicate with clients and vendors.

Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and managers.

Attend training sessions on new software, technology, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, information technology or related field.

Strong mathematics skills.

Strong technical skills 3-5 years Management experience.

In-depth understanding of wireless communication technologies.

Attention to detail, analytical thinking.

Project management.

A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance.
