What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist with privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs)
Respond to data subject requests (DSRs) and privacy‑related inquiries from customers and team members
Monitor compliance with privacy representations in policies and terms, identifying areas for improvement
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate privacy considerations into business processes
Support privacy incident response activities under the guidance of senior team members
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 1‑4 years of experience in privacy compliance, data protection, legal operations, or related field, preferably at a technology company
BA/BS required in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business, Legal Studies)
Foundational knowledge of data privacy principles and regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and project management abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Privacy certification such as CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) or working towards certification
Understanding of data security concepts and their relation to privacy
Experience working in a software or technology environment
Familiarity with privacy by design principles
Experience with privacy compliance tools and platforms
