Network Engineer – Tucson, AZ
Pay range: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour. This is a fully onsite, full‑time position located in Green Valley, AZ.
Responsibilities
Plan, design, and implement network upgrades and capacity expansions.
Coordinate with customers, sales, and marketing staff to gather and define network requirements.
Operate and maintain network hardware, software, servers, and operating systems.
Develop and troubleshoot solutions for network problems, including RF spectrum analysis for wireless connectivity.
Support daily on‑site validation work and customer/demonstration demos around the Tucson Center.
Test and tune RF (Wi‑Fi and cellular) for heavy equipment and remote‑control applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2–4 years of experience routing/switching core network engineering.
Strong knowledge of Wireshark and packet capture analysis.
Understanding of RF spectrum and outdoor wireless configuration.
Experience with Linux is a plus.
Mechanical capability to install outdoor access points on trailers or solar equipment.
Basic verbal and written communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required; Master’s degree acceptable.
2–4 years of relevant experience.
