Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A progressive and client-centered family law firm in Austin, Texas is seeking an Experienced Litigation Attorney to join its team. This role is ideal for a motivated legal professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in litigation and/or family law. The attorney will be responsible for managing a variety of family law cases, representing clients in court, drafting legal documents, and maintaining client relationships. Location: Austin, Texas Duties: Conduct comprehensive legal research and case analysis Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and trial briefs Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations Handle new client intakes and conduct initial consultations via phone or in person Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Assist in developing case strategy and trial preparation Manage and maintain client billing accounts and assist in fee collection Collaborate with legal staff to support ongoing casework Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation and/or family law Proven courtroom and client advocacy experience Ability to manage multiple cases independently and efficiently Experience with client billing and fee collection processes Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications: Active license to practice law in the State of Texas In good standing with the Texas Bar Skills: Exceptional legal research and writing abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Interpersonal and client relationship management skills Detail-oriented with a proactive and strategic mindset Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Performance-based bonuses Company-paid health insurance Opportunities for growth in a well-established family law practice Company info BCG Attorney Search 10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100 Houston Texas United States 77042 Phone :
