Recording and Licensing Specialist.
This position performs complex clerical work and general office assistance in the Auditor’s Office, including compiling and maintaining records of business transactions. Primary areas of responsibility are: Department of Licensing:
Processes vehicles, vessels, park models, motor homes, mobile homes, etc. transactions. Recording:
Indexes and maintains into perpetuity all real estate transactions, marriage licenses, process server licenses. Researches historical documents. Minimum Qualifications: Individual needs to be able to perform this job successfully in each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are listed in the attached job description and are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three (3) years previous training or experience in progressively responsible clerical positions, including two (2) years experience in area of specialty. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Compensation: This is a full-time, Grade 24 UFCW position. Pay range is $24.74 - $29.54/hour, starting pay typically $24.74, depending on experience. Full medical benefits, including dental and vision. Retirement provided through Washington State DRS. Paid Time Off (PTO), 12 paid holidays, and bereavement leave. Work Week: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch.
