The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking a Power Platform Administrator (Systems Analyst V) to manage and optimize the Microsoft Power Platform environment at TEA. MISSION:

About The Office Of IT The Office of Information Technology works closely with all agency divisions to implement innovative technology solutions in a cost-efficient manner that supports the goals and priorities of the Texas Education Agency. Position Overview The Power Platform Administrator will manage and optimize the Microsoft Power Platform environment at TEA. The administrator oversees security settings, permissions, and data access, ensuring a security and compliant environment. Essential Functions: Environment and Governance Management: Responsible for overseeing all Microsoft Power Platform environments to ensure they align with established governance policies. Azure and Security Integration Awareness: Maintains a strong understanding of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and identity and access management principles as they relate to Power Platform. Power BI Governance and Administration: Oversees the administration of Power BI, including user access management, workspace governance, and enforcement of Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance policies. Platform Integration and Deployments: Coordinates the integration of Power Platform components such as Power Pages and Power BI into Power Apps to deliver seamless user experiences. AI Governance and Leadership Communication: Leads governance efforts for AI features within the Power Platform, including Copilot Studio. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university Degree field(s): Computer science, Information technology, or related field Experience: At least four (4) years of experience as a cloud administrator with hands on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Power Platform components. Other Qualifications: Share the belief that all Texas students can achieve at high levels and are able to succeed in college, career, or the military Strong expertise in Azure security groups, and conditional access, including app registration, service principals, and identity management In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform licensing Familiarity with Copilot Studio and AI governance frameworks Proficient in generating reports and dashboards; experience with CoE Starter Kit is a plus Excellent communication skills: ability to lead meetings and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders The Texas Education Agency is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
