Overview
We are looking for an IT Desktop Support Professional to join a well-known education organization. The selected individual will be assisting users with all types of technical support issues including hardware and software, Windows/Mac, application failures, printer and network connectivity. This team\'s #1 priority is to assist the user and does not have strict metrics for their employees. This is a Monday-Friday role. Provide in-person technical support for hardware, software, Windows and Mac operating systems, application failures, printer and network connectivity. Document user issues within a ticketing system and follow up as needed to ensure issue resolution. Communicate technical information to non-technical users in clear, understandable terms. Collaborate with team members and work independently as required to resolve issues. Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a Technical Support or Desktop role Experience with PCs running Windows 7 and Windows 10 In-person customer technical support background is required Experience documenting user issues within a ticketing system Ability to translate technical information into non-technical speak for non-technical users Passion for learning new technologies and inquisitive nature Desired Skills: Mac experience Bachelors Degree and/or IT certifications are a plus (must have degree OR years of experience) Prior experience supporting Higher Education users Company Profile and Benefits
