Flanigans Enterprises is looking to add a highly skilled and qualified person to our IT Team as a Help Desk Support Technician. Candidate must be willing to work weekends. Be proficient in troubleshooting issues with POS, computers, printers and network systems. Responsibilities
Respond to requests for technical assistance in via phone, chat or email Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues Research questions using available information resources Advise user on appropriate action Follow up with users to ensure complete resolution of issues Redirect problems to correct resource Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks and Wide Area networks Answer inquiries regarding POS systems Maintain detailed records of daily communication, issues and remedial actions taken in our Helpdesk application Qualifications
Computer Science Degree Certifications or prior Help Desk support experience Basic computer troubleshooting knowledge Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems Working knowledge of computer networks Ability to demonstrate strong customer service tendencies A willingness to learn the troubleshooting process Able to maintain a calm, professional demeanor on the phone Clear communication skills Ability to multi-task on several projects Direct experience in the restaurant industry or other POS system a plus Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS Candidate will be trained on troubleshooting to be able to resolve POS issues.
