As an Associate Developer at IBM Consulting, you will join the world‑class Associates Program for university hires and work with a diverse range of clients worldwide. We are hiring inspired, talented individuals who believe no problem is too big to solve. Your Role And Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support high quality, scalable products and interfaces for our clients. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and define technical specifications for generative AI projects. Employ IBM’s Design Thinking to create products that provide a great user experience along with high performance, security, quality, and stability. Work with relational databases (SQL, Postgres, DB2, MongoDB), operating systems (Linux, Windows, iOS, Android), and modern UI frameworks (Backbone.js, AngularJS, React, Ember.js, Bootstrap, JQuery). Create everything from mockups and UI components to algorithms and data structures as you deliver a viable product. Preferred Education
Bachelor’s Degree. Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Demonstrated programming proficiency and experience with one of the following: Java, C++, Python, Scala, R, SAS, SQL, Hadoop, HTML, SPSS, VBA, Tableau, Spark, Angular, ReactJS, plus systems design/development and IT coursework. Exposure to web services, API and Java application frameworks such as Springboot. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Familiarity with generative AI modeling, ethics, and methodologies. Familiarity with microservices architecture, infrastructure concepts and cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and Google Cloud. Willingness to travel up to 100 %. Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
Ability to work across architecture – building both front‑end and back‑end. Help maintain and improve code quality, organization, and automation. Communicate with stakeholders on technical issues; design and code servers, services, applications and databases on platforms such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle for reusable, scalable solutions.
