Overview Model-Based Systems Engineer (Associate - Mid Level) at G2 Ops, Inc. Location: Virginia Beach, VA at our G2 Ops office. Work setting: in person, with some remote opportunity and/or flexible hours, not a fully remote position. Salary range is based on relevant experience, education, and certifications.

Responsibilities

Work on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) in support of Navy and DoD weapon system development, integration, and evaluation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver systems engineering products that enable rapid delivery of acquisition program end-items.

Apply MBSE practices, techniques, and tools to systems design and integration.

Work with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, Magic Draw, and Enterprise Architect.

Contribute to research, development, or test and evaluation related to systems and weapons implementation.

Demonstrate working knowledge of Navy and/or DoD weapon system development and integration.

Collaborate with both government and contractor personnel on multi-disciplinary teams.

Develop systems engineering products to support acquisition program delivery.

Plan, manage, coordinate, and evaluate highly technical products across multiple organizations.

Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

Qualifications

Experience applying MBSE practices, techniques, and tools to systems design and integration.

Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, Magic Draw, and Enterprise Architect.

Proven experience in research, development, or test and evaluation related to systems and weapons implementation.

Working knowledge of Navy and/or DoD weapon system development and integration.

Experience contributing to multi-disciplinary teams including both government and contractor personnel.

Ability to develop systems engineering products to support acquisition program delivery.

Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, coordinate, and evaluate highly technical products across multiple organizations.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Salary and Benefits Salary range: typically $85,000 to $120,000, based on qualifications. Benefits package valued from approximately $13,000 for a single employee to $28,000 for an employee and their family.

Work Environment and Clearance

In person at the G2 Ops office with the possibility of telework with prior approval.

Due to the classification level of projects, fully remote work is not offered at this time.

Preference for an active DoD Secret clearance is noted; a candidate with an active clearance is desirable.
