Ledgent Finance & Accounting's is currently seeking an Immediate Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join their team in Florida. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing accounts payable tasks efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AP processes and a basic understanding of Excel. Base pay range
$24.00/hr - $27.00/hr Responsibilities
Perform AP aging and reporting to ensure accurate tracking of outstanding invoices. Maintain AP transactions by processing purchase orders and check runs. Code invoices accurately and ensure vendor compliance with company policies. Conduct 3-way matching to verify receipt and accuracy of goods and services. Record transactions in the accounting system and perform reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy. Qualifications
Previous experience in accounts payable is required. Basic understanding of Excel for data entry and reporting. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal departments effectively.
