Job Description Job Description Substitute Police Officer - School Resource Officer Position Summary Directly responsible to the police services administrator in conjunction with school site administration; perform school District police duties, in and about the school sites and other District-owned and operated properties. $35.44 per hour Hours : On Call Substitutes are ‘on-call’ employees serving on a day-to-day basis. Be advised that absences are unpredictable; therefore assignment offers are not guaranteed. Experience Must be twenty-one (21) years old by the filing deadline. Two (2) years prior law enforcement experience is desired. Education High school graduation or equivalent Associate Arts Degree or equivalent is desirable Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and / or Testing Required Graduate of the Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Basic Academy are required. Basic Academy and Training as identified in California Government Code Section 1031. No Felony convictions under California Government Code Section 1029. Must be a US Citizen. Documents All of the following documents are required for this position : Resume (Provide clear evidence of required experience) Proof of HS Graduation (High School Diploma or High School Transcripts or equivalent (ex : GED) C-19 Letter (Completion of P.O.S.T.
