Position Summary Our Manager-In-Training (MIT) program guides you through a twelve-week interactive training focused on managing your own account. Training includes hands-on and computer-based learning across areas such as:
General Training & Comprehension for housekeeping roles and use of cleaning equipment.
Leadership Development, quality control, and staff in-servicing per policies and requirements.
Policies & Procedures to ensure quality standards, safety, inventory, and customer service.
Reporting: maintaining records and delivering reports to management.
Training: overseeing training, quality control, and in-servicing; facility walkthroughs and QCIs.
Leadership: payroll submission, staffing, coaching, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.
Communication: relaying directives to staff from clients and management.
Safety: use PPE, proper handling of cleaning solutions, incident reporting, and adherence to infection control.
Punctuality: attendance and timely completion of tasks.
Customer & Resident Experience: professional interactions with clients and residents.
Qualifications
Positive attitude; ability to follow instructions and perform routine tasks.
Ability to work with minimal supervision after training; injury-free work record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills and ability to maintain records and reports.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
Residence in the service area.
