Regional Sales Manager – Northeast Region

Shibuya Hoppmann has an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager for our Northeast Region.

This territory includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Vermont. The successful candidate will have 3 – 5 years sales and/or business development experience, ideally within the packaging industry. You will be passionate, a born business closer and comfortable with regular travel within your assigned region. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Developing sales strategies with management/marketing to penetrate new markets and audiences, as well as maintaining the existing base businesses in your territory Continued sales support of the existing Shibuya Hoppmann product line Developing potential customer list based upon past knowledge, contacts and experience within the packaging industry Identifying, establishing and building relationships with key accounts Developing new business opportunities and markets through cold calling, networking and event attendance Working closely and collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing Teams and within the company as a whole Providing regular strategic reports on regional activities Establishing sales growth objectives, profitability targets and yearly sales management plan for the complete product line within your territory Requirements:

Must have some knowledge of automation (mechanical or electrical) Must have outside sales experience Must be willing and able to work out of office a minimum of 3 days per week /with overnight stays Travel to our manufacturing facility in Virginia will be required from time to time Travel to regional and national trade shows will be required from time to time Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer Must have valid driver’s license with Real ID (or driver’s license and current passport) Experience in Vibratory feeders or Parts Handling Industry preferred Experience with Salesforce preferred Full Time Employee Benefits
