Water/Wastewater Engineer
to join our growing Water team in New England. This role will primarily support senior engineers and project managers on municipal water projects, conducting evaluations, designs, and providing services during construction at municipal water and wastewater facilities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a long-term desire to grow personally and professionally.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on water, wastewater, and stormwater design projects.
Participate in planning, cost development, and scheduling for assigned projects and tasks.
Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians within the local and regional water group.
Perform civil design calculations, prepare sketches, and conduct technical analyses as required.
Assist in developing plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Engage in professional organizations for marketing, industry recognition, networking, and Jacobs brand growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
At least 3 years of consulting experience for water and wastewater clients.
Experience with drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance systems.
Understanding of water and wastewater conveyance and/or treatment processes and technologies, master planning, and condition assessments.
Willingness to learn Jacobs’ proprietary tools.
Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with MS Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD and ESRI ArcGIS is required.
Preferred/Additional
Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within one year.
Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
Experience managing deliverables to scope, schedule, and budget, and providing construction services.
Involvement in professional societies or leadership roles; self-motivated with initiative.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $115,000.00. Within the range, pay is determined by work location, skills, experience, and education or training.
