Job Description

Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with all customers, embodying our REACH philosophy, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. Cross‑trained in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
Customer Experience
Role model REACH principles with customers.
Support a positive store culture and embody all aspects of a Green Culture Pulse.
Promote TJX Rewards credit and loyalty programs.
Support and respond to Front End coverage as well as Dressing Room and Jewelry needs.
Human Resources
Uphold a culture of honesty, integrity, and respect.
Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
Accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws and associate meal and break period policies.
Store Operations
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for sales floor and participate in maintenance/cleanliness of entire store, e.g. Single Queue, Associate Lounge.
Maintain floor care cleanliness standards and operation of the scrubber and buffer.
Process and prep merchandise for sales floor following Door to Floor and Working Smart principles.
Adhere to Front End policy and procedures including ringing sequence and operational controls (RIL, Voids, Refunds, etc.).
Balance register draws and or cash office as required.
Ensure ‘go backs’ are properly tagged/hung and promptly returned to the sales floor.
Merchandising
Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy.
Adhere and uphold merchandise and signage standards.
Partner with Merchandise Coordinator to create and maintain compelling features, flexing the sales floor as needed.
Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed.
Loss Prevention & Safety
Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
Adhere to operational and loss prevention controls according to company guidelines and policies.
Identify and communicate alert signals and potential safety issues immediately to management/loss prevention to ensure a safe environment.
Do not engage in pursuit or apprehension of shoplifters.
Other duties as assigned.
