To provide direct care, guidance, and instruction to the children of the MAOF Child Care and Development Centers. To instruct children in activities designed to promote social, physical,and intellectual growth that stimulates learning, according to the developmental stages of the children. Job Summary

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Must possess the minimum of a valid Associate Teacher Permit from the CCTC. Pediatric First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certified. One (1) year of classroom paid experience or volunteer experience working in pre-school/childcare setting, preferred. Ability to communicate, both oral and written Ability to speak, read and write English Well enough to understand and be understood by others. Ability to relate to diverse groups of people including low-income families. Sensitive to others needs. Maintain confidentiality. Sincere commitment to providing services to children and the community. Ability to assess and respond quickly to varied situations. Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
Special Qualifications
Must submit to pre-employment physical examination, drug screening and Tuberculosis (TB) clearance. Must provide vaccination records for Pertussis (Tdap,) Measles (MMR) and influenza (optional). Will be fingerprinted and must clear through DOJ and FBI. Must possess own vehicle, valid California Driver's License and at minimum, general liability automobile insurance. Must provide proof of COVID 19 Vaccination or apply for exemption.
